Terms of Service
Last updated: April 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Bidro ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What Bidro Is
Bidro aggregates publicly-available construction permit data from municipal sources (currently Austin, TX) and applies AI analysis to predict project scope, trade requirements, and dollar estimates. We provide this data and analysis to registered contractors and suppliers via a web application and API.
All permit source data is public record under the Texas Public Information Act and is retrieved from official city APIs.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Contractor accounts are $59.99/month. Supplier Regional accounts are $99.99/month. All subscriptions include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. Billing is handled by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription anytime via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations.
4. AI-Generated Content
Scope estimates, timing predictions, cold-call scripts, and other AI-generated outputs are produced by a third-party AI model. These are estimates only, not quotes, commitments, or professional advice. Verify all details before making business decisions based on them. Bidro is not liable for inaccurate AI predictions.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) resell or redistribute Bidro data outside your organization, (b) use the API or scraping to extract bulk data beyond your subscription's fair use, (c) use the Service to harass, spam, or mislead general contractors or other third parties, (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass authentication, or compromise the Service's security.
Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated without refund.
6. Data You Provide
You retain ownership of any data you upload (customer account lists, notes, pipeline tags). We process it solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Availability
We target 99% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upstream API outages (from municipal sources or Anthropic), or unexpected issues may cause downtime. Bidro is not liable for business losses resulting from Service unavailability.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. BIDRO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BIDRO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Travis County, Texas.
