Two kinds of people
win with Bidro.

The same public records answer different questions for the people who sell to contractors and the contractors who sell to builders.

From public record
to a call that counts.

Bidro does the reading, sorting and arithmetic. You make the call.

01 / DISCOVER

See what’s being built.

Every commercial project registered with the state in ten Texas counties, about a month before work starts, with who owns it and who designed it.

02 / QUALIFY

Know who’s actually busy.

Every contractor ranked by the permits its own name is on: growing, new or slowing, month by month.

03 / ACT

Make the call count.

A short list each morning and outreach written from each contractor’s own record. Save it, follow up, track the quote to won or lost.

Honest by design.

Lead lists oversell. Bidro shows its work, so you can trust the numbers in front of a customer.

Construction value is not a sale.

The Board’s dollars are what owners told the state a job will cost to build, and they’re labelled that way. We never dress them up as what you can sell.

A filing is not a bid invitation.

A permit or registration shows who is working and who owns the job. It doesn’t mean the work is still for sale; the call finds that out.

Counts, not scores.

Every number is a count from a public file. The one projection we show, “a year at this pace”, is printed as arithmetic, not a forecast.

Simple pricing.

Questions.

Where does the data come from?

The City of Austin and City of San Antonio permit files, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s commercial project registry, and the state’s contractor license list. All public records, refreshed daily. Every page says which source a number came from.

Which areas do you cover?

The Book covers Austin and San Antonio, where permits name the contractor. The Board covers Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Williamson counties. Houston’s own permit file carries no contacts, so Houston contacts come from the state registry.

Is the dollar figure what I can sell into a job?

No. The Board’s dollars are what each owner told the State of Texas the construction will cost. What a supplier sells into a job is a smaller, different number, and Bidro never presents one as the other.

Are these projects open for bids?

A permit or registration is a filing, not a bid invitation, and the state registry doesn’t name the general contractor. Bidro tells you who is working and who owns the project; the call confirms what is still being bought.

Will every contractor have a phone number?

Most Austin contractors do, because the city prints one on the permit. San Antonio doesn’t publish phones, so Bidro shows the business phone from the contractor’s Texas license where the name matches exactly, and says so. Where there’s no phone, you’ll see that too.

What happens after the trial?

A paid subscription is required to keep access after the 14-day trial. Starting a trial doesn’t need a card, and you can cancel any month from your billing page.
